DO NOT PLUG IN OR SWITCH ON YET

Read the instructions below and make yourself familiar with the operation of the heater. You should be fully aware of the dangers involved in incorrect operation or cleaning, especially the risk of burns and scalds from the hot water.

We advise that this heater should not be left unattended when switched on.

TANK FILLING, HEATING & EMPTYING

BEFORE SWITCHING ON POWER SUPPLY:

Allow for the increase in water height once objects are introduced. Do not overfill.

The water level should be monitored during use and should always be maintained at no less than  2 cm (0.75") above the bottom of the tank.

  1. 1.Switch on power supply. The digital display will flash for several seconds.

  1. 2.Press button "P" briefly. Use the "Up arrow" and "Down arrow" buttons to set the required temperature within the range 40 - 60 deg. C.

N.B. The temperature selected before last disconnecting the heater will automatically be set from the memory unless an alteration is made at this time.

After the initial heating up cycle the digital display will show the temperature of the water. A small "dot" illuminating above the word "out" (output) indicates that the unit is currently heating the water.

  1. 3.Use industrial rubber gloves when removing heated articles from the tank.

  1. 4.DISCONNECT FROM POWER SUPPLY BEFORE EMPTYING

  1. 5.Use the plastic syphon pump (supplied). Close the top screw cap. Place short tube into tank, squeeze plastic bulb 3/4 times, water will flow out through the longer tube.  Use a bucket to catch water.  If flow stops, squeeze the bulb a few more times.

  1. 6.Perform cleaning (see below) at  end of each session/day.
